Welcome to the 57th Annual Old Forge Annual Fire school!
I am excited to be the chairperson again this year and thankful for my committee members and all the volunteers that make fireschool possible. This year, we lost one of our most integral members, Tony Tormey, and he will be sorely missed.
I am also thankful to FASNY for all the hard work and support throughout the year that they give us together with all our sponsors. This year we have incorporated many new and exciting classes you won't want to miss!
I look forward to seeing you all in September for a fun and educational weekend.
Old Forge Fire School Chair,
Dawn Schweinsberg
This year our theme is "Protecting the Adirondacks." As the volunteer fire service in NYS has changed drastically over the last 15 years, we here at the Old Forge Fire Department have once again partnered with our friends from FASNY as we understand the importance of bringing the Fire/ EMS community together for our valuable training, which will help you protect your community and ours, when needed.
