On April 24, 2021, at the Sylvan Beach Fire Department, Oneida County, and FASNY will be co-sponsoring an 8-hour class 8 am-4 pm on Responding to Propane Emergencies. This will be a 4 hours classroom session followed by a 4 hour practical including a live burn scenario using a propane truck.
Firefighters attending should be Class “A” or interior qualified firefighter approved using a form provided with fire Chief permission. SCBA and full PPE is required for the practical hands-on. The class limit is 45. An online application and liability form is attached and will need to be presented at check-in.
FASNY will be providing lunch to all participants at no cost to them.
